Gaming Favorite Halo Weapon

What is your favorite weapon in all of Halo?

My personal favorite is the sniper rifle, since I have built up so much experiance using it in Blood Gulch, I can pretty much take anyone out in two shots at most.

[color=darkblue]M6D Pistol...yeah, it maybe not as huge or hard hitting but it is very potent in medium or large scale maps. I love the 2X zoom feature for it. On this one canyon multiplayer, level with the vehicles, I'd go to the side walls, select it, find a moving target trying to look for me, running around. I'd switch to 2X, center in and mash the R-trigger to death, making a kill in a second. Since it's small, there's barely any kickback so it's extremely accurate. They don't know what hit 'em...[/color]

Not a huge Halo fan, so I don't know all the names... But I LOVE that alien gun that shoots those pink spikes that latch themselves onto enemies and then explode.

My least favorite is probably the alien gun you have to charge up to shoot decent blasts.

My favorite weapon is the S2 AM Sniper Rifle, I love sniper rifles in any game... =D

My least favorite would probably be the Plasma Rifle, that is one annoying gun, I mean, you unlease a magazine of plasma and then it over heats.... Then you get attacked, then you need to do it again..... *sigh*

I agree. All hail the Sniper Rifle! Just two body shots (or one head shot) and an Elite will go down, instead of wasting an entire AR clip.

i personaly like the plasma grenades. their so fun! you just get invisable sneak up behind a person and stick it on them and boom!
my least favorite is any other alien gun. thier just so......... dumb. i also like the rocket launcher.

The assault rifle is really cool, especially with that little nifty flashlight! :D I think the Covenant plasma pistols are really neat looking too, but I'm not big on the technical part of the game. My opinion may be not as long as some other people. Anyways, it's still one of the best games out there. :)

I like all the human weapons. I hate all the alien weapons cause they all suck! No need to talk about the Plasma Pistol. Plasma Rifle is decent but takes a while to cool down when you really need its power. Needler is a good one too but only if you make the rounds hit the same target. Pistol for the Accuracy, Assault for all out battles, Sniper to pick targets off, and the Rocket when you got some beef with someone or thing. Both grenedes are good. Human is best when you need that quick boom and the plasma when you wanna turn yourself into a suicide bomber or rip an Elite's face off.

I loved the Assualt Rifle, but thats just because I am an assualt rifle kinda guy. My other favorite is the Tri-barrel machine gun that is mounted on the back of the warthog.

Well, it all depends on your personality. I like something with a good melee attack, zoom (range), and decent firepower. Hence, I like the pistol. It's the perfect all around weapon. Just keep the reticle trained on the target's nogging, and then there's nothing to it. Pro's use pistols, and that's a fact.

The human pistol is the best weapon in the game! Runner-ups are: the sniper rifle, the rocket launcher, the normal grenade, and shotgun...

I have no liking to the alien weapons. They are just a pain to use. PLus, they aren't any good and don't even inflict as much damage. I just don't see any use. I try to avoid them as much as possible, but sometimes those are the only weapons around. I hate it when that happens.[/color][/font][/size]

The assault rifle and the human pistol has to be the best ones as they just rock where as the others are usually a pain, I will edit this when I learn the names of the guns, beacause I've only started playing! Co-op multiplayer is pretty damn cool. :D

I think the shotgun is pretty cool but it takes quite a while to shoot and is pretty slow at reloading, for a fast weapon i would say i like the assault rifle as it is very fast at firing but you dont tend to run out of ammo very fast.

Yes that is funny when you hit them as you can like kill them with one hit but there is like an alien gun that fires green bullets and if you hold down the trigger it like charges up and then fires a massive green bullet right at the enemy which i think is good.

Yeah I love clubbing mates in the back with any gun really. It's so amusing, especially when there is enemies near by, because they have to sit and watch you fight. The plasma grenades are great for killing mates as well and a good way to kill yourself. Wheee! :D Do not get in my way or you will be clubbed, don't say I didn't warn you! :p

Yes i have been clubbed many times by you cajones, I also think its funny when you throw a grenade and it sticks to someone and they die because they can't get off them and its even funnier when they don't relaise what happened.

Another fun thing I enjoy doing is putting a frag or plasma grenade on dead bodies and watching them fly. :devil: If I feel a bit bored maybe put them underneath me and watch me fly into the air WOW. :D I've took a liking to some of the slower weapons not just the assault rifle, such as the shotgun for more pain in one shot and the pistol as when you club someone with the pistol the guy does this neat flick with the pistol like a professional.

The only alien gun I have taking a liking to is I think the plasma pistol (not certain) where it has a green charge up which is strong! Oh and of course the plasma grenade. :demon:

Yes the pistol as a cool flick which i like also and the plasma gun with the green charge is cool when you charge it and hit someone really close with it. I also like throwing plasma grenades and getting them stuck to the little grunts who run around crazily and you can usually get them to run into their mates and blow up which kills more enemies.

[size=1][color=darkblue] I hate the gun, but I find the detail on the Needler (sp?) really decent I love the way the needle disappear from your screen, that kicks butt. I like the Plasma Rifle too, that's really fun, and charging up the Plasma pistol is cool, especially if you connect with an enemy!
Melee attacks kill instantly if you are not spotted by the alien, in case you didn't now, but using stealth is hard, because those little gay things run around squealing like pigs.[/color][/size]

[COLOR=darkred][SIZE=1]I am a sniper. . so, of course, I love the Sniper Rifle. I wish it held more ammo then just four shots, but I think the general theme of the game is limited ammo *shrug*

The pistol, the shotgun, and the rocket launcher are pretty much tied for a close second. The pistol is great for mid range sniping, and even better for scouting out bigger levels. The shotgun can't be touched for close range fire-fights, and the rocket launcher is just that. . . a launcher of rockets ^_^ KABLOOM!!

The frag grenade and the plasma grenade are awesome too. . . that's all. I am not the biggest fan of the game, and hate the X-Box controls, but the other day, we had 12 players hooked up on three t.vs, and just went at it. So, you can't beat that! This is extremely fun because my oldest three brothers (two of which are not FPS gamers in the least) are really into the game, and it is very enjoyable playing games like this with my family (which we are all very close).

We have planned for another night like this, trying for 4 X-Boxes and 16 players ^_^ It will be great if we can do that . . but who knows.[/SIZE][/COLOR]
