BondFanatic Posted October 26, 2002 Share Posted October 26, 2002 To make a story short, The Mareimeia (sp) Army declares war against the Earthsphere and takes Relena hostage. The pilots join together, except Wufei, who is on the side of the enemy and joins later. Quatre saves the Gundams from being incinerated in the sun. Wufei and Heero fight. Milliardo, aka Preventer Wind, blows up an asteroid with his Mega Cannon. Heero shoots his TBR at the underground bunker housing Mareimeia, Relena and Dekim. It turns out Mareimeia is being told what to do by Dekim, who shoots Mareimeia, (paralyzing her, I think) and is shot and killed by one of his own officers. In the end, Quatre celbrates with the Maganac Corps, Wufei joins Preventer and the final shot shows Heero walking with the night sky in the background. Kent Posted October 26, 2002 Share Posted October 26, 2002 I've seen it and although I'm not a fan of wing, I thought it wasn't all that bad. Infact, it was good. I also liked alot of the gundam animation, especially that two second glance into one of the gundams eyes. That was sweet. I just didnt like the feather wings... I thought the suit was suposed to be "space Alloy"? But Heavyarms got some cool new guns... so that was a plus... but anywho... im done with my rant now... Oh Sora you wouldn't have to wait for the movie to be shown again to see the whole thing, you should get the DVD unedited version or the unedited VHS, i got the unedited VHS and i really enjoyed it. Some of my fav yet. And im not sure why you didnt like the WZC but its a close second to Sazabi and just ahead of kampfer for me as fav MS. The thing just looks absolutly stunning. I even got most, if not all of the new stories released in manga. I don't think the movie is anything special on its own, though. The wings looked good when they were showed for the first time, but they looked like crap during battle. They just didn't make any sense. And Sora, the Gundams were being sent into the sun to permanently get rid of them, as the Gundam pilots felt they were no longer needed. Same reason [spoiler]Quatre, Trowa, and Duo blew up their Gundams at the end. The WZC was already dead, and Wufei couldn't stand to part with Nataku. Though he may have blown it up eventually. I have a hoodie of WZC when it is ready to shott at Mariemeia's palace, but the maker has edited the picture and taken out the wings. it looks spiffy. Also... I think there is one part of DHC I don't like. That shot of it in mid air in fromt of the moon with it's cloak folded... that looked entirely random. It explains the better part of the series briefly and is actually a good stand alone movie for those who have not seen the series. It's great as a capper, of course. But even though it kinda spoils the series a LITTLE bit, it's great to get aquainted with the gundam universe. And that's my two cents, I'll spare you of tax this time. I reckon those wings were waaaaaay over the top on zero, and deathscythe's imp-boots didn't work for me. But the others were bareable I suppose, although it doesn't really matter in relation to the actual animation which was pretty amazing! And heavyarms had the clown mask which made me happy :) (he did didn't he? *tries to reember* I'm SURE he did...) :D A great movie in my opinion ^_^ But I'm afraid I don't have two cents to hand... 2 pence'll be good, right? ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
