Do you have a Sixth Sense?

In another thread, the conversation got to how some people have thier own sixth sense. I dream about things and then they happen. And I can see a light around some people, or an aura. So is anybody else like this with supernatural powers?!

well actually its kinda wierd because sometimes an aura is there and sometimes its not. i think it depends on the person, to believe in auras and spirits and stuff. but seeing things that happen later on can be called dejavu if it happens once or twice. but its like three or four times a week for me, so i think it is way past dejavu.

Or at least that's what I'd call the talent of being able to recognize the brand and model of any car just by looking at its headlights or tail lights. It's not like I really paid much attention to cars for a long time, I was just suddenly able to tell what cars were very easily.

So I guess that's my sixth sense ^_^

Oh yesh, and a lot of times if I think of the worst thing that could happen in a certain situation, it usually happens. That's why I constantly have to say, "But that hasn't happened yet, Knock on wood!" Otherwise it happens. Spookeh :shifty:[/color]

I have 3 o_O;; One is that in my dreams I usually see like a minute of an event that hasn't happened yet. Now I don't know when it happens but whenever something is familar to me... I usually know what happens next and end up changing the outcome... Dejavu all over (its just too bad I can't use it to win the Lotto or sumthing).
Second one is a sense about movies. This one is werid... whenever I think of a particular scene in a movie, that movie I thought of is being shown on TV just as I think of it or later in the day! Only downside is that it only happens if I think of the movie once and don't put any more thought into it. O_o;; Last is kinda like a aura or "spider-sense". I can usually tell if something is gonna happen or know if someone is coming. (I love this one.. its nearly impossible to scare me ;) ) Another thing about it is that I can sometimes tell if something is bothering someone. This one usually scares the hell out of others.. :-/ Thats about the extent of my evil powers :devil:

1: I could see the future in my dreams.Like my friends hair jokes.lol.But after it happens I remember it and I don't get to change it though :(.

2: I have another spirit inside of me.......guiding me......my eyes doesn't become 100% when it happens.But when it kicks in I do something 100%/correctly.Only happens when i'm doing physical things.Not intellects.I wish I could use it for tests.But I do good on tests anyways.It also helps me in Staring contests.

3:Like Zero's Last one.I know when someone's coming.But sometimes the sense doesn't come in but some how i'm not surprised.WHen it happens the effect kicks in and it's the same as #2,Eyes isn't 100% when it happens.Also knows what happens.SO I think ahead.

I think my friend and my dad has a sixth sense.My friend can see the future in his dreams as well.I'm not sure with my dad........but I think he could read minds....

My friend and I thinks that we are some how connected.....and abnormal...

I have a sixth sense with the lotto, but I've never played or won it before :D

Every now and then, I catch the lotto on TV when I'm channel surfing. I stop and say two numbers (like 3 and 4) and then the winning numbers turn out to be stuff like 13, 14, 7 (3+4), 12 (3x4), ect. It's kinda weird. I should play the lottery some time, huh? :D

I can also predict the winners of Grammy awards once I know the nominees. But I think everyone can do that...

I use to call it a sixth sense when I had dreams and later they happened, but now I call it dejavoo(SP)...I have it all of the time, but I don't relize that this thing happened in a dream until after it happened...

I have deja vu. Lots. Mainly, it's I'm sleeping (I think), and I guess I don't remember it. But then I'm sitting somewhere, when I realize I've said that before, or I've seen that before, or I've done that before. Creeps me out a little.

And it's not really an ability, but I have ghosts in my room. Which is why it's always cold in my room. I hear voices. And it's only by a certain window though. Sometimes I'll have a necklace hanging off of my lamp, and it just starts swinging, even though there's no air going to it. Oh yeah. I have a possessed computer. That thing KNOWS.

And I can read cards. No, I don't do tarot or anything, it's just that I have a certain deck of cards that if I tell someone to pick a card, memorize a card, and then put it back in the deck, I can pick out the card from a strong tingling in my pinkie and ring fingers of my right hand. Works everytime too. And occasionally there's an aura, or a ghost in my vision. I can sense "evil ghosts". Call them ghosts, call them demons, call them whatever you want, but I KNOW they're there. Scares the living daylights outta me.

I'll shut up now before ya'll think I'm overly weird.

Um.. Well.. I live in a haunted house. Weird stuff happens, yet it seems to happen only to me. ~.~ Doors open and close by themselves, I see weird things, I hear voices and floorboards creaking, as well as scratching on the walls. I feel things touching me. I dunno if that counts as a 6th sense or not, though. *shrugs*

The dream thing happens to me often. I don't usually mention it though, since I believe that almost everyone does it. The only difference is that I've actually changed an unpleasant outcome based on the knowledge of the dream.

I have ghosts in my house.Mainly the bathroom.When I go into the bathroom.....I here chants of the words in the song "The Ghost Of John".It freaks me out though....

Mine's just in my room. Ok, when I was little (about 8 or so, I had just moved into the house) I would always hear a woman call my name, but it wouldn't be my mother or my sister, because they were either outside or not at home. Don't hear her anymore though . . .

And my computer really IS possessed. When I'm supposed to be doing my homework, but am on the computer instead, the screen blanks out and will NOT come back on until my homework is finished. And, when I'm up too late on the computer, it blanks out then. Eats my CDs and won't give them back sometimes too. I think it's because my sister (who had the computer before me) beat on it alot, because one time my sister was trying to get it to do something (me being the computer flunkie I am) and it wouldn't work for her. I sit down in the chair and take the reins, and it starts working.

And my ghosts know that I know about them, because they'll get the blind rods going (the little strings that enable you to pull it up) and then I'll yell at my ghosts and it'll stop. And whenever someone's over, nothing happens. Zilch. Nada. It's warm in my room, my computer works fine, everything's a-ok. So strange . . .

The only thing that happens in my bathroom is that I can't close the door when the lights are off. I'm not sure if it's just a fear of mine or not, but I'm just so afraid to sit in that bathroom in the dark, because I keep on feeling that there's someone in the mirror, and they'll be able to get out if the lights are off. And every once in a while, writing appears in the steam on the mirror. Considering I've lived in this house since I was eight, I'm used to it by now.

The only sense I guess I have is being able to read people extremely well. Just by looking at someone (usually their eyes) the first time I meet them, I get a sense of what type of person they are.

I try not to let that affect how I treat them. My first instinct on the person has always proven true in the end though... even when lots of things that happened before it were leading me to believe my first impression was wrong.

I don't believe in aura in the "seeing colors" around people sense. But some people do project some sort of feeling around them, and I consider that an aura instead.

I can guess cards well. I dun't know what that is considered. But ask Britty I think I can guess a card atleast 75 percent of the time. Its freaky, I just know.

I have the little dejavu thing, but I agree that I think everyone has it.

Aslo like Semjaza I can tell people from their eyes. My first impressions are actually 9.45/10 times right. Tis scary, I can also tell how someone is feeling by their eyes.

Now, I am sure some of what you have all said classifies as what I have just said, but it goes deeper than that. I'd say what you guys are saying could be called a hunch, not a sense. A hunch is a feeling which we believe to be true, whether it be so or not,

So no I do not believe in a Sixth Sense. They are rather hunches and shots at experience which we have had which we convey into what we believe.[/color]

Like a few people have mentioned, I can feel when someone is close to me, or something is getting closer.

I (can) also have a strange heightened sense of smell/sight/hear. I can smell/hear/see things much sharply sometimes but yet not know whatthey are. Meaning I can sometimes see a dog a mile away, or hear a yell, or smell a fire, and yet I'd spend an odd 5 minutes trying to figure out what it is. Kind of like not being able to see the forest because of the trees.

I also have deja vu a-plenty. Whenever whatever I saw happens, I tend to stop, and just try to think how far back I saw the vision. Once or twice, it was years back.

I also have this [i]thing[/i] whereby fate mocks me. Whenever something inevitable is about to happen, I'll mention it, and then it won't happen.[/b]

And regarding what Mitch said, humans use I think about 10-15% of their brains. Maybe some people have almost grasped another sense? At the end of the day, the same way these 'sixth senses' can be wrong, the five senses can also be wrong sometimes.
But yes, despite everything I said, I don't think I believe in a sixth sense either.[/size]

I get dejavu a lot. I mean a few nights ago I was thinking about posting a thread about coincidences, then decided not to for some reason (other than the fact that my Mum won't let me go on-line). And then voila, here is a thread on something similar! Other times I'd suddenly see something and think that I've seen it before, it's just a few flashes of stuff, but I don't remember anything.

One really strange thing is that I tend to randomly come up with stuff. Like bits of music with harmony that sound good even though I have no idea what the chords are. And inspirational and ranty passages (as evident by my sig). Scary, really.

Also I get a lot of coincidences. So much that it's scary (that's why I was thinking about posting a thread on it). eg. Last week at school my maths teacher said that he'll buy us (our class) all a peanut slab (chocolate) each if our class average was above 74% in a test. Of course we didn't get that high so we got no chocolate. The day we got our results, I came home, and when my Mum came home she had bought some peanut slabs & other chocolaty stuff. The thing is, she didn't plan to go shopping and she doesn't even normally buy chocolate unless I specifically asked her to buy some! AND she didn't even know about the promise of my maths teacher.

It's all really getting scary now. But I don't think I have a sixth sense even though I don't scare easily.[/color]

That's exactly how my dad is. He can tell any car just by looking at the head lights or tail lights.

My sixth sense is knowing what people are going to say. Another thing that happens to me that really isn't a sixth sense is that when I think something is going to happen my ears start to feel funny and move. Or if I hear something that I think is going to turn out bad the same thing happens. Kind of like spider sense.
