I suppose you can say that about them individually, but it's hard to assume what they'd be like together. Some people treat each other like crap in public, but let it all hang out when they go home at night. Bulma and Vegeta act like perfect strangers when they're around they're friends, but nobody knows what might go on once the light go out. Then again, it could have just been a classic case of "wham, bam, thank you ma'am." Twice. Then again, it could just be bad writing. I mean, how anybody on that show had kids is beyond me. Nobody can picture Bulma & Vegeta or Goku & ChiChi shaking hands, let alone making babies. My main guess is that romance is the kryptonite of Akira Toriyama's writing. It IS like people in real life, sometimes the two of them get along and sometimes they don't. It's exactly like a marriage, you have your good days then there are the bad ones.. Vegeta doesn't seem like the marrying type. Plus he probably would've signed up for the tournament using Bulma's last name (or not. There's no telling). One time that stands out is when goku was leaving to go the time chamber. There was a passionate embrace and I believe a kiss. (Although CN wouldn't show their faces:therock: ) She was concerned the whole time he was sick. I'm sure there are more that I just can't think of right now. ChiChi doesn't worry about goku fighting because he has been doing it all his life. Gohan has always been forced to fight since he was a child. It's just maternal instinct. You can count the number of affectionate/passionate moments in DBZ with one hand. And that doesn't count the times when somebody cries because someone died. It is also on one of the web sites that I visited a while back and if you guys get into reading any of the magazines, it is stated in the Beckett Dragon Ball Z as well. Marron347 Posted November 5, 2002 Share Posted November 5, 2002 i have to agree that chi chi does not show affection for goku very often, but in addition to the one someone already metioned there was also when goku recovered from that heart virus. chi chi saw him on the beach and ran out there and hugged, kissed and everything. it was a real kodak moment. also when goku was about to go back to otherworld after teaching goten and trunks the fusion dance. and about bulma actually being married to vegeta, im not really sure. all i know is that during the world martial arts tournament(the one that kaioshin was in)chi chi referred to vegeta as bulmas husband while she and bulma were arguing about whose husband was the stongest. But everyone, including them, have they're own "passionate" moments....hate to put it that way, but you know what I mean. But you gotta figure they don't want EVERYONE to know about their feelings about each other....I'm sure they have their moments at home when no ones around and they actually do act like true loving husband and wife. And if you ever did see the Japanese version, you will see times at Capsule Corp. where they hug and smile at each other and in GT it gets better. WAY Better! They kiss a few times....and trust me, I've seen it ONLY in the NON FUNIMATION made vidoes. They just think that it's "bad for children." Like any kids don't see their parents smooching..... You ever seen that show "UNhappily Ever After" or "Married With Children"? You know the relationships between the husband and wife on both of those show's right? Not too good is it? Just one of them f__...I mean, stick and run type relationships. Thats about the type of relationship Bulma and Vegeta had until Vegeta was wished back to life.
