Red in the eye

As you said, Red-Eye is a very pure substance that takes 3 months to make. It is sold on the black market for well over 20 million Woolongs.

The Red-Eye itself is basically a drug. It comes in liquid form, which you spray in your eye, and everything turns red through the eyes of the person taking it. Hence the name Red-Eye.

What it does is increase your speed so that it appears as if everyone else is slowing down. It does give you some strength, but it is mostly intended for your speed. This usually makes the person that takes it over confident with his eyes, thinking that he can see everything at once, but in actuality, the drug messes with your brain to the point where you're so addicted to taking it that you can't concentrate when the time comes to fight.

It's a very simple process, but hard to explain. Try watching episode one, and it really explains everything. The only other time that it is even mentioned in the series in Juppiter Jazz Parts 1 and 2, where Vicious is buying Red-Eye from Gren.

Red Eye is a drug that enhances the user's fighting abilty. From what I saw it kinda slowed down time so you can see punches and bullets coming and dodge them. This kinda reminds me of the Adreniline pill in Grand Theft Auto 3. To use Red Eye you use a special sprayer that sprayes the fluid on your eye. Hope that answers your question. Lataz

Yeah, that's a much better description of it. Short, easy to understand, and effective. Laymans' terms.
